1. What is coaching?

• Coaching can drastically improve your performance in any given area of your life by exploring where you are now, where you want to be in the future and how to get you there.

• In a basic sense, this is achieved by your coach guiding you to set challenging yet achievable goals and plan actions that will lead to an accomplishment of these goals.

• We provide honest but constructive feedback to help you realise your true capabilities and to achieve the outcomes you want.

• We work wholly from your perspective, beliefs and cultural background, understand how you are motivated, what your strengths and weaknesses might be and seek to improve both.

• With coaching you will gain clarity of what is stopping you from attaining the results you desire, question your current way of thinking and overcome those barriers.

• We take a non-judgmental standpoint and provide 100% confidentiality; only in this kind of environment will you truly flourish.

• We firmly believe that people are naturally highly resourceful and, with coaching support, will find their own solutions to their challenges.

2. How do I get started?

If you would like to get a taste of how coaching can transform your current results, we have a limited number of introductory sessions available every month.

To book your session, simply email us to request an appointment and we will email you a Client Profile (questionnaire) to complete. This document will help you to explore and vocalise your current results; goals; and the obstacles that are hindering your progress.

During the session, we will work on raising your awareness of 'self' and explore a specific goal, from your questionnaire, in greater depth and find the actions to make that goal achievable. We are all about taking action and guarantee you'll get ideas to move forwards.

An introductory session is AU$97.

To book an introductory session, get in touch.

3. How does coaching gets results?

Coaching is so powerful because it works with your belief system and values. This means that all final solutions are aligned with what is most important to you, greatly enhancing your motivational drive.

Coaching is a long term solution. It focuses on creating key behavioural changes replacing bad habits that don't serve you with positive, life-changing patterns of behaviour. As with any habitual behaviour, it takes time to nurture and establish but the results are far more sustainable.

4. Is coaching just for people who 'need fixing'?

In a word, 'no'! People want to work with their coach for many different reasons.

• Some people, who are struggling with self-confidence concerns, work with their coach to make shifts in their personal belief and behavioural patterns to enable them to enjoy more satisfying outcomes in their lives...

• Others want to work with their coach to map out a new career direction so that they can purposefully grow into the more senior roles they are striving for...

• Some people know exactly what they want to achieve and come to a session bouncing up and down with a new goal they 'just have to achieve' as soon as possible...

• Others are really struggling with what they even want in their lives. They are stuck and need their coach to open their eyes to new possibilities...

5. Is coaching the same as counselling or mentoring?

Coaching is neither counselling nor therapy. The fundamental difference is that a counsellor would ask you to talk about your past as a means of helping you come to terms with your current situation. In coaching, we are only interested in the present and how that can be bettered to achieve a more successful, happier future.

Coaching is not mentoring. This is a process whereby you would seek advice from a more experienced person or ‘mentor’. This mentor would use their experience of the world to offer you advice to help solve your issue.

6. What does an actual coaching session involve?

Coaching is a very personal partnership and every coaching program is specifically tailored to each individual client. As a result, the structure and experience of a session varies for every client.

In a basic sense, sessions focus on you setting challenging, yet achievable, goals and planning actions that will lead to an accomplishment of those goals. Invariably there will be obstacles (either imagined or tangible) that are currently hindering your progress. We blast through these obstacles to clear your path and to make what may have seem difficult, easy!

Sessions are usually conducted face-to face for Sydney clients at our CBD office. Telephone coaching is also possible. A single session lasts 60 minutes.

7. How long does coaching last?

In truth, the duration of any coaching is at the client’s discretion: you can choose to stop your sessions or coaching relationship with us at any time. Your Coaching Agreement will outline these parameters.

Our coaching programs are designed over a 6, 8 or 12 week period. Experience shows that 6 sessions is the minimum time required to make a serious impact on your goals. Some clients take a little time to get clarity on their current situation whilst others need to change beliefs that are holding them back - these changes can take time.

Clients can of course book fewer sessions but they may find it difficult to achieve all that they want to in this time. The investment per session will also be more expensive.

8. How much does coaching cost?

Our coaching programs are tailored to suit your individual needs and requirements to ensure you obtain maximum value from your coaching and make the greatest impact on your goals.

Should you want to book an introductory coaching session, this is AU$97.

Contact us to discuss your objectives for coaching to discuss a program best suited to your needs.

9. How can I trial coaching before I invest in a coaching program?

It is in your own best interests that you only engage the services of a professional coach when you know you are 100% ready, and committed, to making some positive changes to your current belief and behavioural patterns.

To go ahead with coaching, if you know you are ready, get in touch.

If you are a private client and would like to get a taste of how coaching can transform your current results then we do have a limited number of introductory sessions available every month. You will complete a very thorough questionnaire, to help you explore your current results; your goals; your obstacles and enjoy the benefits of powerful session focused on raising your awareness of 'self', exploring a specific goal in depth and finding the actions to make that goal achievable. An introductory session is AU$97.

12. Is coaching right for me?

The people who excel with coaching are those who want to make positive changes to their lives, are willing to be challenged by their coach and are keen to work hard to achieve what they want.

As coaching is such a personal experience, it is imperative that you feel at ease with your coach and we would recommend that you research a variety of coaches and their qualifications before making your final choice.

Should you wish to find out more about coaching or more about us, we would welcome your call.

13. Does Clear Horizon Coaching offer any guarantees?

As a coach of integrity, it would be unethical for Rebecca to say that coaching will absolutely get you the specific results you are after. Despite the fact that she will be 100% committed to ensuring your success, a great deal relies on your hard work and commitment to be the best you can possibly be.

That said, we do offer a money-back guarantee if you are not completely satisfied with the value you have obtained from your coaching within the first 2 sessions.

14. What is your mission statement?

To provide our clients with a vitally important partnership that will guide, inspire and support them towards accomplishing their most sought after goals and being the best individual they can possibly be.

15. Tell me more about your Recommendation Reward Scheme

We provide a reward scheme to our personal clients to thank them for recommending business to us.

For every friend you recommend to Clear Horizon Coaching, who completes an introductory coaching session, you will receive a special rate $97 session of your own.

16. What are your hours of business?

We are located in Sydney, Australia but work with clients worldwide.

Our private clients come to our offices at 309 Kent Street, Sydney 2000. For convenience, some clients prefer telephone or Skype sessions.
