Leadership coaching

What is Leadership coaching?

Twenty years ago 'leadership coaching' was the domain of top executives, CEOs, COOs and Managing Parters. In some instances it was regarded as a 'badge of honour' to be given your own personal coach to work with.

As the benefits of results-focused coaching have rapidly spread throughout business worldwide, one-on-one coaching has also become far more accessible.

When working with companies ideally we coach top-down, coaching senior management first before working our way down to the middle tier.

Coaching teaches models to improve awareness and to boost employee engagement. Only with a thorough understanding throughout the organisation can those changes be understood and sustainably implemented.

Corporate coaching - how does it work?

We work with key decision makers to assess core areas for coaching. Common areas might be:

• Managing staff

• Effective internal communication

• Handling client relationships

Time management

Conducting appraisals and handling feedback

Managing conflict

Coachees (those to be coached) will then agree their objectives for their coaching program and a coaching program will be tailored to meet those needs. Typically, coaching takes place on a weekly basis for 3-6 months, with an initial investment of 12 weeks.

The coach provides the coachee with a non-judgemental and confidential ear to help them voice their concerns; bounce ideas; offer suggestions for improvement; and boost self-confidence in their ability to make the right decisions and take the appropriate action.

The coach and coachee will both provide the decision maker with separate reports on the success of the coaching, at touchpoints throughout the program.

Private leadership coaching - how does it work?

As with any of our private coaching programs, prior to meeting Rebecca, you will complete a thorough self-awareness questionnaire helping you to explore your current results; goals; obstacles to your success; concerns; areas of strength; and perceived areas of weakness.

At your first session we will discuss your findings in greater depth and explore your key overarching goals for your coaching program.

Every session, you will pinpoint the area you wish to focus on and we will set a specific goal as our benchmark. We will explore your current situation in greater depth, Rebecca will challenge any assumptions you might be making and help raise your awareness of any belief or behavioural patterns that are hindering your progress.

Typically, coaching takes place on a weekly basis for 3-6 months, with an initial investment of 12 weeks.

Contact Rebecca if you are ready to continue your professional development and grow as a leader, or if you want to find out more about our programs and their results.
